Denver Nuggets Game 7

Wolves force Game 7 with 45-point blowout of Nuggets

Minnesota Timberwolves rout Denver Nuggets 115-70

Edwards leads Wolves with 27 points

The Minnesota Timberwolves avoided elimination from the NBA playoffs in spectacular fashion on Thursday, blowing out the defending champion Denver Nuggets 115-70 in Game 6.

Anthony Edwards led the way for the Timberwolves with 27 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 22 points and 11 rebounds. The Nuggets were led by Nikola Jokic, who had 20 points and 10 rebounds.

The Timberwolves jumped out to an early lead and never looked back, leading by as many as 50 points in the second half. The Nuggets were never able to get into a rhythm, and they shot just 30.6% from the field.

The win forces a Game 7 in Denver on Sunday. The Nuggets will need to win to advance to the Western Conference finals, while the Timberwolves will be looking to pull off the upset.
